Tatiana de Souza Leite Garcia is an experienced academic with extensive experience in the private and public sector. Notably, she has served as a consultant for the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and for Brazil’s Ministry of Integration and Regional Development on technical studies for the proposal of the National Territorial Planning Policy in 2022 and 2023. She was previously also a Technical Advisor to the Cabinet of the Secretariat of Logistics and Transport of the state of São Paulo in 2016 and 2017.
As an Environmental Policy Fellow at the Centre for Regional Integration, she analyses the challenges and opportunities for regional cooperation and integration on sustainability, climate change, and territorial governance in South America. She is also an Associate Researcher at the Political Geography Laboratory at the University of São Paulo (Brazil), and a member of several research groups on regionalism, geopolitics, and development.
